The other night

A long planned event.
A concert of delightful quality.
When you see with the right eyes, or maybe just close them completely -
it's worshipful.

One of the important red-heads in my life & I had a night.
So great to meet up not only for the celebration of her birthday
but also our shared love of delicious music.

It was in the whole absorption of it.
The lights brought low, the energy form onstage.
The couple whispering on each others face just beyond my elbow.
The candle on the table & the people walking by on the street outside the windows.

So good.
