Unsettled

Proverbs 31 talks of a woman who can smile at the future.
I am not seeing that in myself today.
Not that I won't change my perspective & laugh at things to come soon,
but for today I am unsettled.

I'd like to be a woman who has confidence & trust
in the midst of mess & moving around.
I'd like to be a person - a Christian, a woman, a mom - who can deal well with shifts, change & unpredictability. Someone who can make home wherever they are with little more than a creative spirit & available bits & pieces.

For now, I feel so far from that.
But I trust that that will rise again.
